Systems using Unix as their operating system have been extremely popular over the last few years due to their good name and robust technology. While very good operating/file systems, Unix, like all other systems, they do fail. A sudden failure of the Unix system normally means that the hard disk has suffered some kind of software or physical fault.

Recovery Process:

Depending on the type of Unix system, the data recovery process can take several paths depending on the configuration of your system.

In all cases the hard disk are imaged as part of our standard recovery procedure. This ensures the intergity of the original hard disk.

We then work with the hard disk image to process the Unix system by extracting the data.

Unix systems support different hard drive interfaces. Some of the interfaces supported include: PATA Drives, SATA Drives, Portable Drives, Mobile Drives, IDE Drives, SATA Drives, SATA II Drives, SATA 2 Drives, SATA III Drives, SATA 3 Drives, eSATA, SAS Drives, SCSI Drives, iSCSI, ESDI Drives, Fibre Channel Drives, USB Drives, Firewire Drives and PCMCIA Drives.
