Your computer may produce error messages along the lines of:

Primary Hard Disk not found. Press F1 to Continue
The BIOS recognises the drive as its factory alias (Maxtor N40P, Athena, Calpso etc)
Master Boot Record Not Found
Invalid or corrupt FAT
Invalid partition table entries
Invalid sector
Cannot find file or program

Primary/Secondary Hard disk failure
CRC error
You get completely corrupt directory listing
Hard drive is clicking or ticking
hard drive motor is not spinning
LED on hard drive flashing
Hard drive beeps
Virus attack (including CIH/Chernobyl and the SirCam virus)
Non system disk or disk error - This error normally occurs if a floppy disk has been left in the floppy drive, or if the file system has become corrupt

It may be that your computer may not even recognise the drive, or it is making extraordinary noises - If the hard disk is making ANY strange noises, then switch the computer off immediately. We can successfully recovery data and, in many cases, return it within 24 hours!

Stage One

Send us your Hard Drive to our postal address; details are below and on our contact page. Send the Hard Drive via a suitable postage service along with your Contact Details (Name, Address, Phone Number & Email Address). We recommend Royal Mail Next Day Special Delivery. The average costs are £5 via this delivery method and the contents are fully insured up to a value of £500. Send from anywhere within the UK and we will receive it the next morning guaranteed.

Stage Two

Our Diagnosis will confirm the level of data capture/recovery that we can attain from your media, we will then contact you ASAP to determine what data you want recovered.

Stage Three

We will then recover the data you want and copy the contents onto CD-ROM, DVD or another Hard Drive. Also via special request we can rebuild your hard drive with your chosen operating system and your recovered data.

Stage Four

We send the recovered data back to you via Royal Mail Next Day Special Delivery. We aim to send the recovered data back to you within 24/48 hours.
